- BIOC 6223 - Bioinformatics (2 credits, fall)
- A broad overview of methods and applications of bioinformatics in the life sciences.
- BIOC 6224 - Methods in Molecular Biology and Protein Analysis (3 credits, fall)
- Common laboratory techniques used in molecular biology and protein analysis.
Corequisite: Bioc 6221. - BIOC 6227 - Biochemistry Seminar (2 credits, spring)
- Current literature in biochemistry. Limited to graduate students in the department.
- BIOC 6228 - Research essentials (1 credit)
- A variety of topics essential to helping graduate students become successful scientists including scientific research, ethics guidelines, writing manuscripts, and career information.
- BIOC 6230 - New Technologies in Scientific Research (2 Credits, spring)
- This course will focus on new scientific technologies that are an essential part of modern investigative research
- BIOC 6260 - Biotechnology of Lipids and Carbohydrates (3 credits, spring)
- Basic techniques in the biotechnology of lipids and carbohydrates.
Corequisite: Bioc 6221.
