We are thrilled to share the exciting news that Sunisha Harish, a recent graduate from the Data Science Department at GWU, who joined Horvath Lab for an eight-month research placement, has secured a prestigious position at PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers).
Sunisha was a fantastic addition to our team. During her time with us, she made significant contributions to the administration and growth of our MS Bioinformatics Program—from student onboarding and optimizing the program schedule to her work on website development and digital presence. She made highly significant contributions to our AI-driven projects focused on modeling cancer mutation functionality from single-cell RNA-seq data. Her dedication and initiative greatly strengthened the program and will benefit future cohorts. Her impactful work will also be recognized through authorship in several upcoming publications—so stay tuned!
